Yes! Every chandelier you see here has been hand-painted, sealed with UV resistant varnish, redesigned, and given a fresh new personality by me. I source vintage fixtures, clean them up, give them a rainbow (or custom) makeover, and make sure they’re ready to shine in their new home.
Where do you find your chandeliers?
I’m constantly on the hunt — thrift stores, estate sales, flea markets, online auctions, you name it. If there’s a dusty, neglected chandelier in need of love, I’ll find it.
Do you take custom orders?
Absolutely! If you have a specific size, color palette, or style in mind, I can work with you to create your dream chandelier. I can also start from one of my existing vintage finds and make it match your vision.
Can you repaint a chandelier I already own?
Yes! If it’s a good candidate (solid structure, safe wiring, and a style that can handle a colorful transformation), I can give it a makeover. Just send me pictures and measurements first.
Do you rewire your chandeliers?
If the wiring needs to be replaced for safety, yes. If it’s already safe and functional, I clean and test it before it leaves my studio. All fixtures are ready to hang unless otherwise noted.
How do I install my chandelier?
For safety reasons, I recommend having a licensed electrician install your chandelier. I provide basic hanging/assembly instructions, but electrical work should be done by a pro. I recommend using LED lightbulbs to preserve the brilliant colors of your chandelier.
Do you ship?
Yes! I carefully pack each chandelier so it arrives in one piece (lots of bubble wrap, padding, and swearing at packing tape). I ship within the U.S., and local pickup/delivery in Florida is also available — message me for a discount.
Can I see your chandeliers in person before buying?
If you’re local to the Tampa Bay area, we can arrange a viewing appointment. Just message me to set it up.
How long does a custom order take?
It depends on the complexity, but generally 3–6 weeks from design approval to shipping.
Why “The Chandelier Queer”?
Because I’m proudly queer, and my chandeliers are as colorful and unapologetic as I am. This is art, light, and personality all in one.
